Driving lesson
"You know...when I was a teenager, I was so proud of the fact that my dad was such a good driver."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. I'm sorry I can't give you that."
"That's okay, Mom. You've shown me the value of a good bumper."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. I'm sorry I can't give you that."

Okay, that made me laugh out loud - if that's a true rendition of a conversation with your daughter, you've also given her a great sense of humor.
