Hackmatacked!
This just in: Racing for Diamonds has been named finalist for a 2008/2009 Hackmatack Children's Choice book award!
I haven't seen a full list of finalists, but congratulations to my fellow Orca nominees Liam O'Donnell and Hazel Hutchins!

Thanks, Helene! I'm looking forward to seeing a press release or another listing of all the nominees. Liam is a friend, so I can cheer for him as much as for me...perhaps I will have others to cheer for as well :-)

Ha! I just had a visual of our action adventure characters coming together and competing in some sort of "amazing race" :-)
lol - that would be great! Perhaps we could convince Orca to do a special mini-comic with characters from our books in an amazing race out to PEI - it'd be great promo material!
