a Musing

Rain, rain, fall away, let us see in some new way. Wash away clutter, wash away sludge, let us birth something bright in the muck, and the mudge.

Hmmm...I thought I was just musing, and made up a word to suit my (poor) poetic practice, however, according to Google:

Definitions of Mudge on the Web:

* Peiter C. Zatko (better known as Mudge) was a member of the high profile hacker think tank, the L0pht.

And really, that is what I meant. Sometimes a real rain, like the one that falls so generously today in Winnipeg can metaphorically wash away mental and emotional clutter, if we let it. It can help us "hack" into the creative wellspring.

Onward, writers! Let us think, muse, create.

If I'd been asked, i'd've guessed that "mudge" is marshmallow fudge. As in "I made a fresh batch of mudge, everyone." But your invention's more sensible.
